SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION:

The “Get the Gift”, Holiday Shopping Spree (“Sweepstakes”) KBXX – 979 The Boxx and KMJQ-Majic 102 promotion will begin on Thursday November 20th, 2025, and end on Friday December 5th, 2025 (“Sweepstakes Period”). This Sweepstakes will be conducted online and on the air. Two Hundred (200) winners will each be awarded one (1) Gift Card and an invitation to an event for winners and their families (combined ARV $200) (“Prize”). See Prizes section for available bicycle styles and sizes.

HOW TO ENTER / EXECUTION:

1. Listeners of KMJQ-FM and KBXX-FM (singularly “Station”, together “Stations”) who are legal residents of the United States residing within the Houston, Texas metropolitan area, are 18 years of age and older at the time of Sweepstakes registration will be able to take part in this Sweepstakes.

   There are two (2) methods of Sweepstakes entry. To participate in the Sweepstakes, listeners must do the following:

2. On-Air Participation
   1. During the Sweepstakes Period, listen to the Station for the on-air announcement (Get The Gift Holiday Shopping Spree – “Gift Giveaway Sounder”) for the 9th caller to contact the Station. Be the designated caller at the following numbers after the Get the Gift Giveaway Sounder has been played.
      • For KMJQ-FM: Participants must dial 713-621-1021
      • For KBXX-FM: Participants must dial 713-621-0979
   2. WARNING: Online listeners to streamed broadcasts may experience a lag in transmissions due to buffering limitations. Sweepstakes participants should not rely on streamed broadcasts to participate in the Sweepstakes.
   3. Correct callers will be encouraged to provide a reason as to why their child deserves a Gift Card for Christmas. Providing a reason is optional and does not affect a caller’s chance of winning.
   4. Prior to the Get The Gift Holiday Shopping Spree Giveaway Sounder being played, the style and size of the bicycle being given away during that timeslot will be announced. Winners entering on-air may not select the style and/or size of their Prize.
   5. Eligible callers will be asked to verify their contact information (e.g. name, address, phone number, and email address).
   6. The last day to enter via this entry method will be Friday December 05th, 2025
3. Online Participation
   1. Sweepstakes participants must register online through one of the Stations’ websites at www.myhoustonmajic.com or www.theboxhouston.com.
   2. Upon entering one of the Stations’ websites, participants are to follow the on-screen instructions, including entering their name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, and any optional or additional contact information, as requested, to register for a chance to win.
   3. After completing the registration process, qualified entrants will be eligible for a chance to win.
   4. All Internet entries must be received by 11:59pm local time on Sunday November 30th, 2025, or they will be void.
   5. One entry per person per email address during the Sweepstakes Period.
   6. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of a participant’s online entry, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the authorized holder of the e-mail account at the time the entry was made.
   7. Winners entering online will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entries received electronically.
4. All winners will be notified by phone and / or email and provided with further instructions.
5. All winners will receive an invitation to the Grand Prize Winners’ Event (“Event”). The Event will take place on Saturday December 06th, 2025 from 8:00am to 11:00am local time at a secret Location. Prizes shall be available for collection during this time.
6. Winners must provide valid identification (e.g. via valid state-issued driver’s license, passport or other government-issued I.D. containing the person’s name, date of birth, and photograph) and a completed W9 form to claim the prize. Identification documents must match information previously provided to the Station.
7. Prizes will be awarded only upon winner verification and final approval by the Station.
8. All decisions made by the Stations and Station management regarding any aspect of this Sweepstakes are final.
9. Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of Station management which will be final and binding in all matters pertaining to this Sweepstakes.

ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:

1. The Sweepstakes is open to listeners of the Stations who are legal residents of the United States residing within the Houston, Texas metropolitan area, are 18 years of age and older as of the commencement date of the Sweepstakes.
2. Employees of the Stations, Radio One of Texas II, LLC (“Company”), Martin Law Firm, P.C, Dick’s House of Sports, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, general sponsors, advertisers, competitors, promotional partners, other radio stations in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area, and members of the immediate families or those living in the same households (whether related or not) of any of the above are NOT eligible to participate or win in this Sweepstakes. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, immediate family members mean spouses, parents, grandparents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses.
3. Unless otherwise specified, participants may only win one (1) qualifying prize and / or one (1) grand prize during this Sweepstakes, regardless of entry method.
4. Persons who have won a prize in another sweepstakes or promotion of any kind from the Stations within the thirty (30) day period immediately preceding the start date of this Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate. Only one person per family or household (whether related or not) may win in any promotion from the Stations during any thirty (30) day period.

PRIZES:

The following prize elements will be awarded:

1. Two Hundred (200) Gift Cards
2. Invitation to the Grand Prize Winners’ Event for winners and their families, to be held on Saturday December 06, 2025 (ARV $200.00 per Gift Card)
3. Transportation to and from the event venue, meals, beverages, souvenirs, and incidentals are the responsibility of the winner and his or her guest.
4. Unless otherwise specified, the Prize must be claimed in-person between the hours of 8:00am and 11:00am local time at the Event. Winners are solely responsible for the loading and transportation of the Prize from the Event to their destination.
5. To the extent that prize elements are provided by third-party providers, winner agrees to look solely to applicable prize providers with respect to any claims, losses, or disputes in connection therewith.
6. Dates and times of concerts, events, trips, and activities promoted by event sponsors are subject to change and those changes are deemed to be beyond the control of the Station.
7. Unless otherwise provided, prizes must be claimed at the Event between the hours of 8:00am and 11:00am local time on Saturday December 06th, 2025. Winners who fail to claim their Prize during this time shall forfeit said Prize.
8. The prize may only be claimed by the actual winner. Friends and family members are not eligible to claim the prize on behalf of the winner.
9. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value.
10. All Sweepstakes winners must sign, and date official Station release and waiver forms as requested. Failure to do so will result in winner forfeiting the prize.
11. The Stations, the Company, and its affiliates and promotional partners shall not be liable for any claims made by ineligible entrants.
12. If for any reason a Sweepstakes winner decides not to accept the prize awarded, the winner may be required to sign a release form acknowledging forfeiture of the prize.
13. In the event any winner is found to be in violation of these Official Rules or is otherwise determined by the Stations to be ineligible, he/she may be required to forfeit the prize.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

1. Winners are responsible for payment of all applicable taxes associated with the receipt of the prize.
2. Any person winning over $600.00 in prizes will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year for tax purposes.
3. No purchase necessary. Sweepstakes is void where prohibited. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
4. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entrants participating during the Sweepstakes Period.
5. By participating in the Sweepstakes, winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Sweepstakes without additional compensation.
6. All winners must sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize.
7. The Stations retain the right to disqualify any entrant if all Sweepstakes rules are not followed.
8. The Stations reserve the right to make changes in these Sweepstakes rules, effective upon being announced or posted online.
9. The Stations and participating sponsors are not responsible for transmission errors, technical failures, or human error in the processing of entries.
10. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that the Stations and the Company make no warranties or guarantees regarding the prize.
11. The Stations will not assume any responsibility for changes in the execution of the Sweepstakes due to events beyond their control.
12. If for any reason the Sweepstakes cannot run as planned, the Stations reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
13. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may result in legal action.
14. ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Winners acknowledge that participation in the Event occurs during a pandemic (COVID-19) and assume all associated risks.

CHOICE OF LAW:

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of participant, Station and Company in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of the State of Texas, USA.
